Golfing near a bird sancutary? So that's where the nine-hole layout names came from

The design of this 27-hole course takes not only golfing seriously but also its environment along the beautiful Lockwood Folly River, being an Audubon certified bird sanctuary. The course’s commitment to the environment and its wildlife is evident in the names of its three nine-hole layouts – Ibis, Egret and Heron.

With three 18-hole combinations possible of about 7,000-yards each, there are five sets of tees to offer golfers of all skill levels a challenging round. There’s a 14,000-square foot putting and chipping green practice area as well as a driving range, restaurant and other amenities.
