Heritage Club Golf Course

About Heritage: Built on not one, but two, historic plantations along the beautiful Waccamaw River, the Heritage Club elegantly pays tribute to its storied past from the two-story plantation style clubhouse to the countless live oaks draped in Spanish moss that seem to be everywhere.

Spanish Moss & Plenty of Water at Heritage

At 7,000 yards plus from the back tees, this par-71 course starts off by giving golfers a break with the par-4 1st hole. But it’s not much of a break, with par-5 No. 2 offering two fairways, one long and safe and the other short and potentially wet with a water carry. For many the most beautiful hole on the course, the par-4 No. 4 requires more than a bit of accuracy to get it on the green crowded by live oaks. Beginning and ending with a par-5, the back nine starts with a 606-yarder dotted with water features and having only the hint of a landing area among the marsh and bunkers.

With lots of water and crowned and sloping greens, the course is one for any player to sharpen their skills. And it’s a stunningly beautiful course teeming with wildlife, including the occasional alligator.
