Deep Bunkers, massive greens, and amazing views at this Myrtle Beach Course

One of Golf Magazine’s “Best Public Golf Courses in South Carolina,” the course has been honored by Golf Magazine’s as one of the world’s best new resort courses. With little vegetation around the holes, the course offers some of the best views to be found on any golf course.

Its main challenges come from deep bunkers and deep rough that border fairways as well as an almost constant and changing wind. Another challenge can be some of the course’s massive greens, which can pose a significant quandary to players who land on the wrong part. And some of the bunkers guarding those greens are very deep with escape only coming from the best-played shots.

The course has a very large state of the art 42,000-square-foot clubhouse with pro shop, restaurant and snack bar. There’s also a 36-acre practice area including a one-acre putting green.
