Loads of elevation changes at Tigers Eye

Reminiscent to many of Pinehurst and other Sandhill region courses, the course offers a variety of holes along water with up to 60-feet change in elevation. The Par-3 No. 2 plays over water to a steep elevated green with steep slopes on two sides waiting to funnel your ball away while the par-3 No.11 plays out to a large island tee needing 165 yards from the back tees to carry.

For many, however, the course’s par-4 No. 4, a 422-yard dogleg left, is a favorite, giving them an optional shortcut over water. Success means an approach shot using a wedge instead of a mid iron or even wood a large tiered green.

Playing at 7,014 from the tips, the course has five sets of tees with the shortest measuring 4,502. The course has a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse and practice area with multiple greens, a chipping green, and driving range.
