About Barefoot Resort & Golf - Fazio Course (North Myrtle Beach, SC)
Another masterful design from one of golf’s greatest architects, Tom Fazio, the course incorporates native grasses, live oaks, pines, sand and other natural areas along with water features on 15 of its holes.
Located between the resort’s Love and Dye course, Barefoot Resort Fazio Golf Course is a Lowcountry classic with challenging holes and spectacular scenery. At 6,834 yards, the par-71 layout is classic European in style and like those courses doesn't return to the clubhouse after nine holes.
The course features a good deal of both manmade and natural elevation change with plenty of water features and marshes. With four par 5s and five par 3s, the course features landing zones that are generally broader and greens that are more easily approached than what many consider the more difficult Barefoot Dye course.
Before or after a round, golfers can enjoy the exceptional 35,000-square-foot Barefoot Clubhouse shared by the Norman, Love and Dye courses. The course has been honored as one of the state’s best courses, one of Golf Digest’s top courses in America and one of the best places to play in Myrtle Beach.
