The Worlds Largest Golf Management Companies have grown over the years. Most recently along the Grand Strand we have seen the merger between Burroughs and Chappin Golf Management (Formed in 1999) and Myrtle Beach National (Formed in 1977) creating National Golf Management. With that merger, National Golf Management became the 15th largest golf management company in the country and the 19th largest worldwide back in 2011.
Move forward to 2013, East Coast Golf Management which previously managed 19 courses throughout North and South Carolina will now add Black Bear Golf Club, Burning Ridge Golf Club, Founders Club @ Pawleys Island and Indian Wells Golf Club as part of their marketing co-op. The new addition of courses will bring the total to 24 golf courses managed or marketed by East Coast Golf Management. Below are the courses throughout North and South Carolina.
East Coast Golf Management Courses - North Carolina
East Coast Golf Management Courses - South Carolina
Out of the 24 golf courses now under the East Coast umbrella, four courses have been awarded the title of "Myrtle Beach Golf Course of the Year" Indian Wells (2004) Burning Ridge (2006) Sandpiper Bay (2010) and Founders Club @ Pawleys Island (2011). Burning Ridge was also awarded "South Carolina Golf Course of the Year".
The additional courses will be added to the current promotions provided by East Coast Golf Management for 2014 Spring season like the popular PGA 5 Golf Package that allows you to play a minimum of 5 rounds at the 21 golf courses along the Grand Strand. This package gives each golfer lunch each day of play, two draft beers or fountain sodas each day of play and a dozen PRO V1`s.
East Coast Golf is headed by President Mike Buccerone, Vice President Chuck Hutchinson and Director of Operations Dave Harbaugh.
