About Myrtlewood Golf Club - Pine Hills Course (Myrtle Beach, SC)

With a prime location just off of U.S. 17 Bypass in Myrtle Beach, Myrtlewood Pine Hills Golf Course can trace its ancestry back to 1966 and the Pines Golf Course, one of the first courses along the Grand Strand.

Redesigned by Arthur Hills in 1993, the Pine Hills course features water hazards and mounding throughout its 6,640 yards. Narrower and with more doglegs than its sister course, Myrtlewood Palmetto, this course is not one for heavy hitters and most golfers are better served to leave their driver in the bag. Keeping it in the fairway is key to mastering this course that rewards straight position shots.

With 26 acres of water on the course, it also features plenty of sand bunkers, substantial mounding, and undulating TifDwarf greens as well as several large trees left by designer Hill in strategic locations. Renowned for having one of the friendliest and most helpful staff of any Grand Strand golf course, the course is also known for providing special golf carts for disabled golfers that can even be driven on greens without harm. The course features a driving range, chipping and putting greens, instruction, restaurant, pro shop and more.
