About River Hills Golf & Country Club (Little River, SC)

Up the road from Myrtle Beach in scenic Little River, the River Hills Golf Course features frequently changing elevations of as much as 40-feet. With a Scottish influence on some of its holes, this Tom Jackson designed course measures out at 6,933 yards from the longest tees.

Cut from a maritime forest of dogwoods, live oaks, cypress, pine, and maple and surrounded by pristine wetlands, River Hills was a nominee for Golf Digest’s list of top Southern courses when it opened in 1988. Golfweek has named it one of the best regional courses. In 2003 the course underwent extensive renovations, including Champion Ultra Dwarf greens and more.

Features of the course include well-protected fairways with towering trees, rolling mounds, undulating greens, plenty of natural water hazards, and bunkers. Course amenities include a modern practice facility and a recently renovated clubhouse
