Ranked by Golf Digest as one of the best places to play in Myrtle Beach as well as all of America, the Grand Dunes Resort Club lies next to the Intracoastal Waterway overlooking Marina Village.

Designed by Roger Rulewich, it’s one of Myrtle Beach’s more upscale courses with everything done on a grand scale. At 7,617 yards from the longest tees, it’s the longest golf course in the area with five sets of tees guaranteeing players of all skill levels a challenging round.

With a number of its holes among the Grand Strand’s best known, the 14th is arguably the best par-3 in the area. Considering the course is located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, it’s remarkably quiet and private with little housing on the course and next to no traffic noise. With a number of its holes playing out along the Intracoastal Waterway, the course has more waterway frontage than most other Grand Strand courses.

The Grande Dunes Resort Club features expansive greens, averaging around 45 yards in depth. Getting to those greens, however, can be a challenge since an approach shot that might look great from the fairway can be well below the hole once you arrive at the green.
