About Azalea Sands Golf Club (North Myrtle Beach, SC)
A course that puts a premium on precision as well as power, Azalea Sands Golf course has been popular since opening in 1972.
This Gene Hamm designed course measures 6,902 yards from the blue tees, and while it’s 1,000 yards shorter from the white tees, it remains a challenging course for all skill levels because of strategically placed bunkers, lakes and trees.
Long regarded as one of the Grand Strands more attractive courses, Azalea Sands Golf Course’s traditional layout is known for being one of the area’s better-maintained courses. That and affordable green fees have long made it a popular course. The course has a pro shop, putting green and snack bar.

This course is on a rebound. I would not have played it 2 years ago. Played 5/16/20,, Pleasantly surprised for a budget course.
