Named after its designer, acclaimed golf course architect Rees Jones (son of legendary Robert Trent Jones), the Sea Trail Jones Golf Course was the second of Sea Trail Resorts’ trio of great golf courses, opening in 1990 and measuring 6,761 yards from the back tees.
A more traditional and straightforward course than its two sister courses, it features wide fairways, plenty of waste and pot bunkers, mounding, and greens that are large and elevated. Usually regarded as the most difficult of the three, the course is as beautiful as it is challenging.
It’s also a course that women golfers like with the ladies tees playing a tad under 5,000 yards. Amenities include a driving range, putting green, pro shop and restaurant.
