The final course of the Legends triplets to open, the legends Parkland Golf Course offers a decided contrast to the two that came first. A design of golf course architect Larry Young, the course is designed in the style of Pine Valley and Augusta National, one that punishes golfers for bad shots.
Measuring about 7,100 yards from the back tees and 5,400 from the ladies tees, Parkland offers golfers of any skill level more than just a few hazards to deal with. Take the par-5, 493-yard No. 7 with its seven sand traps and a water hazard that runs along most of the hole’s length. And that’s far from being the course’s toughest hole.
Included with the greens fees privileges at the outstanding 42,000-square-foot Scottish style Legends clubhouse, a 30-acre lighted driving range with over an acre of practice putting green, pro shop, and pub with drinks and food specials throughout the year.
