The golf
The numbers define this one. Par 72 over just 6,737 yards with a slope of 140 means the difficulty comes from trouble and shot demands rather than length, and the course is rated hard. Greens are Bermuda. Zach Nesbit holds the record at 63.
Practice facilities at the Legends complex include a driving range, putting green and chipping green, all at 1500 Legends Dr in Myrtle Beach, which makes it straightforward to build several rounds around one location.
The review evidence is limited and should be treated as such. Twelve reviews are on file at a 3.08 average, which is the lowest in this group, but the star by star breakdown is not available and there is no verbatim feedback on conditioning, layout or service to draw on. Twelve ratings is too small a sample to call this a verdict on the course. What can be said is that the small pool of players who did rate it were noticeably less enthusiastic than average, and that combined with the 140 slope, this is not a course to book blind for a group of mid to high handicappers.

Only played 8 holes due to thunderstorms. Greens were very bumpy due to aeration but we knew ahead of time
Good accommodations. Rob was great to work with and responsive to all requests and questions we had
Person working in Pro Shop very rude and unprofessional. You’re in a customer oriented business, if you can’t treat the customer with respect then you shouldn’t be working there. Greens were in terrible conditions.
So backed up. Had 3 groups waiting on the same tee box. 6 hour round.
Spectacular layout. Greens were a bit wore due to the rain conditions earlier in the week. Overall, a great golf course
Good course. I’m pretty decent shape. Surprisingly greens weren’t in grape shape.
The course was ok, and we had the same issue with the beverage cart. Saw it on the 1st hole (pointless) and the 9th hole (also pointless) and not again the entire round. The greens had same issue as Heathland as well.
Loved the golf course. Unfortunately maintenance was aerating the tee box. Otherwise phenomenal golf course
Dye certainly moved a lot of earth when they made this course. It felt like every green was on a hill.
Did not like all the raised greens and the different grasses on the greens
Elevated greens make it hard on the legs. Greens not in very good shape.
I wish they would allow easier access to the greens. Many of our group is over 60 and all the raised greens and the twenty yards to the green wears us out. The other two courses are much better for green access
Same part of the Strand
